Do you want to achieve your personal writing goals? This requires that you learn to reach the book-related milestones you set for yourself on a regular basis. Here are a few of my own personal writing goals that I’ve finally been able to achieve.
My Personal Writing Goals
#1 – Get Professional Help
I enlisted the help of a professional script writer and director name Scott Morgan. He is really a talented guy. My objective was to get an expert opinion about one of my books. For a long time, I’ve been thinking about fixing my first novel, then having it turned into a movie. Since I plan to rewrite the book during the 2018 NANO challenge, I decided to kill two birds with one stone. The feedback that I received will help me write a better book, plus be a great start for a movie script.
I am thoroughly happy with the detailed assistance that Scott was able to provide. He provided a plotline that will really come in handy. He was able to use do this, after reading the former mermaid book; Experimenting With Murder. I also sent him detailed notes about potential modifications I have in mind. I look forward to working with Scott in the future. I plan to contact him once I’m ready to adapt the book to a movie. That will definitely be a huge milestone!
#2 – Obtain Book Narrator
I previously posted that I was success in obtaining a book narrator for one of my non-fiction self-help guides. The audio version of Several Simple Solutions is currently on sale at Amazon. This is thanks to a really great narrator name Wendy Almeida. I’m happy to announce that Wendy will also be narrating another one of my self-help guides. The audio version of “How To Call It Quits and Move On“ is currently being worked on. It should be available on Amazon before the holiday season.
Pending Personal Writing Goals
Of course, these are just two of my personal writing goals that I’ve been fortunate enough to obtain. I still have lots more. One pending goal is the book query of my “Skipping Childhood“ novel. I mailed it with a S.A.S.E. to the Ethan Ellenberg Literary Agency. I was impressed after seeing how they represent the authors they work with. I have high hopes that they will accept this book. It is just right, in view of the social climate we find ourselves in with the MeToo Movement.
Hopefully, the next successful personal growth news that I’ll be telling you I completed is the 2018 NANO Challenge. That is one milestone that I can’t wait to achieve.
